Jon Penley

Major:  Physics, Geology

     Hi, I'm Jon.  I live here in Wichita with my wife.  I decided to major in physics that I might better understand the fundamental reasons for why things are the way they are, and then work my way up or down from there.  I also enjoy geology, and it is my second major.  I'm thinking about getting a degree in math, just for the heck of it.  When I receive my bachelor's degree here at WSU, I plan to go on to study for a master's degree, hopefully at UNT [University of Northern Texas].  From there, I will seek a doctorate or try for a job at NASA.
